How long will my mattress take to arrive?

Metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth):

Orders placed before 4pm the day before will be delivered the next business day. Alternatively, you can select your preferred delivery date at checkout.

Non metro areas:

Dispatch within 24 hours
Expected delivery time: 1-8 business days

What is pre-order?

If your mattress was purchased on pre-order it means we're out of stock, and it will arrive at our warehouse on the date mentioned. From here it will be dispatched and arrive at your home soon after. Check your location above for delivery times.

How is Eva better than its counterparts?

Many online mattresses in the current mattress in a box market are foam only whilst ours is a hybrid, combining both foam and pocket springs. Our hybrid mattresses are a better choice in comparison to foam only mattresses, based on 4 factors.

1) Heat: Pocket springs act as a great source of ventilation. The open structure allows air to circulate freely thus providing a cooler sleep. In contrast, a full block of foam acts as a barrier to ventilation and traps heat in it. This makes the mattress hot, especially during the Australian summer!

2) Edge support: Our pocket springs are built with reinforced steel around the perimeter of the mattress allowing you to use the full mattress. In contrast, foam only mattresses do not have any edge support. This prevents the full use of the mattress and might also result in falling off when sleeping near the edge of the bed.

3) Support: The 5 zone pocket spring supports the head and shoulder, back, hips, leg and feet. This relieves pressure points by varying the distribution of weight throughout the entire surface. Foam only mattresses are mainly made up of polyurethane foam and do not support different body zones like pocket springs do. Therefore, they do not accommodate different pressure points.

4) Longevity: Our pocket springs are heat tempered THREE times, ensuring that it is built to last. Foam gets softer over a period of time, therefore losing comfort and support in the long run.

How do I get 0% finance?

What kind of base can I use for my mattress?

Eva works perfectly on any firm surface you choose as your bed’s foundation. Eva mattresses’ dimensions are in line with Australian standards; however, if your bed base varies within 3cm, your mattress will still fit. 

Due to the pocket springs inside your Eva, we do not recommend flexi slat or spring slat bed bases.

What is the 120 night risk free trial?

The 120 night trial starts from the moment you receive your mattress. It's simple! Try the mattress for 120 nights and if you feel that the mattress isn't for you, contact us before the end of the trial and we'll organise to pickup the mattress and refund you in full. All returned products are donated to charity.

Please note that there's a minimum of 30 days before you can request a return of the mattress.

About the Mattress

Where can I test an Eva mattress?

You can trial the Eva mattress in the comfort of your own home for 120 nights! If during your 120 night trial you decide Eva isn’t for you, we’ll collect the mattress free of charge. 

Why is Eva mattresses far more affordable?

Our online direct-to-you model means we don’t spend money unnecessarily on retail space and everything that goes with it. Instead, we pass those savings onto our customers.

What kind of base can I use for my mattress?

Eva works perfectly on any firm surface you choose as your bed’s foundation. Eva mattresses’ dimensions are in line with Australian standards; however, if your bed base varies within 3cm, your mattress will still fit. 

Due to the pocket springs inside your Eva, we do not recommend flexi slat or spring slat bed bases.

Will my Eva mattress fold back into its box?

Your Eva mattress is designed to expand when removed from its box – it cannot be compressed in this way again. 

How long until I can sleep on the mattress?

The mattress will take about 72 hours to inflate to about 90% of its height. You'll be able to sleep on it within 4 hours of opening the mattress. Using the mattress during this time will not affect the inflation process in anyway. Infact, regular use of the mattress will help it recover its shape more quickly.

Do I need to use a mattress protector?

Mattress protectors are great for protecting the mattress (from stains, dirt etc), but there's also claims that using one protects the health of the sleeper, as you're able to keep dust mites at bay, which is especially helpful if you experience bad allergies.  

In terms of breathability and heat regulation, there will be some difference to the effect of the heat regulation of gel memory foam layer. The degree of difference depends on the kind of material of the mattress protector, ie synthetic materials will trap the heat more than cotton or wool varieties.

What kind of latex does Eva use?

Eva mattresses use 100 per cent natural Dunlop latex, an environmentally friendly material that offers superb support and comfort.

Is an Eva mattress dust mite resistant?

Eva’s natural latex is naturally dust-mite resistant. In saying that, mattresses are never 100 per cent dust-mite free so be sure to cover your mattress with a protector.

What max weight can Eva withstand?

A total of 400kg.

What certifications does the mattress have?

All the foams used in Eva mattresses are Certipur-US® approved materials ensuring they are safe and non-toxic. Our gel memory foam and base support foam are SGS certified. Our top latex layer is Class 1 OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. This guarantees the foam is safe for use by babies and children.

 

Can I recycle the packaging?

Cardboard boxes can be recycled in your kerbside recycling.

It’s best to check with your local council if they accept “LDPE 4” in your regular plastic recycling. If yours doesn’t, any REDcycle collection point like at a Coles or Woolworths will accept the plastic.

What is Tencel®?

TENCEL® is made from sustainably-sourced wood pulp. Because of the innovative manufacturing process that recovers almost 100% of materials in this closed loop cycle, TENCEL® has earned the “European Award for the Environment". It far outperforms conventional cotton fibre production and is fully biodegradable The result is a fabric that's more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen.

What sizes do the sheets come in?

The Eva bedding set and duvet cover come in sizes perfect for your double, queen and king size mattress.

What's the thread count?

The Eva sheets have a thread count of 400. But it's important to note, that a high thread count does not always mean high quality. It just means there is more fibre is in the product, and can sometimes mean there are multiple ply in the thread. We wanted to create a material that is soft against your skin while also durable and breathable, and 400 is a sweet spot for this.

Are the bed sheets certified?

The Eva sheets are OEKO-TEK Standard 100 Certified.

How can I track my order?

How long will my mattress take to arrive?

Metro area (NSW):

Orders placed before 4pm the day before will be delivered between 9-2pm next business day. 

Metro area (VIC, QLD, SA, WA):

Orders placed before 8am will be delivered between 1-6pm.

If you live in a metro area, you can select your preferred delivery date at checkout.

Non metro areas:

Dispatch within 24 hours

What is pre-order?

Can you leave it on my doorstep?

If you can't be home you may qualify for an ATL (authority to leave). Generally, this is a ground level home with a secure place to leave your Eva. For security reasons, this does not include apartment buildings and is at the discretion of the courier.

Do you deliver to the door?

Whilst your Eva comes in a super handy box (with a handle & wheels) it’s still a mattress & it can weigh up to 55KG. Read: it's heavy. 

Please note: Our freight partner are a ‘to the door’ but not ‘to the room’ service. For a unit this is the front door of your building. We'd recommend organising someone to assist if any of this will be an issue!

How can I pay for my eva mattress?

Eva accepts all major credit cards  - Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.

How do I get 0% finance?

Simply select Zippay or Afterpay option during checkout. You will be redirected to ZipMoney or Afterpay for an application. It will only take a few minutes.

 

Warranty

How long is the warranty?

Eva provides a 12-year warranty on mattresses and a 1 year warranty on sheets, duvet and pillow cases.

What will we cover?

Eva reserves the right to repair or replace your product.

Eva reserves the right to offer you a refund or similar replacement if your item has been discontinued.

Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.

120 Night Trial

What is the Mattress Trial?

We invite you to try our mattress for 120 nights and if for any reason would like to return it, we will collect the mattress and refund in full.

Eva will never reuse or resell a return mattress. We work with charity organisations across the country to donate the mattress. Collection of mattress can take up to 8 business days.

Each household will be entitled to one return and we will need to be informed of the decision to return before the 120 night after delivery of your mattress.

The mattress will need to be kept clean during the duration of the 120 night risk free trial. Eva mattress will not accept returns if the mattress is not kept in a sanitary condition. Please view terms and condition for more info.

What is the Sheets trial?

We invite you to try our sheets for 120 nights, and if for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with your Eva sheets let us know and we'll arrange for a return label for the sheets to be sent back to us.

You are not eligible for a return or refund if you have ordered the wrong size, wanting to change size, upgrade or downgrade. Furthermore, if the sheet has been damaged/stained/soiled to the extent that it can’t be donated, you will not be granted a refund.

To be eligible for a return you must be a paying customer and have been sleeping on your sheets for 30 days before you can initiate the return. If you did not purchase your sheets you are not eligible for a return. Under that guarantee, at any time between 30 and 120 days after purchase, if the customer is not satisfied with their new Eva sheets they may request to return the sheets for a full refund.

To complete your return, we require you to post the parcel at the nearest post office with the return label clearly attached (which will be provided to you during the return process). Upon confirmation of the parcel at the fore mentioned address, Eva will conduct a check before your total payment to Eva Sleep Pty Ltd will be refunded.

Please note the 120-night trial is limited to one set per household and can not be used to exchange for another size.

Please note that if you use the sheets for its intended use without damage or stains you will be eligible for a return or refund.
